Molly's Nearly-Always-Naked MemoirOver the years, I have occasionally written little snippets about random nude experiences I have had -- like driving naked and going to a Halloween party as a toilet paper mummy with nothing on underneath. I have also written a bit about meeting my boyfriend, Jack. Those bits aside, my main "memoir" (so far) is about a period in my early 20s when I first moved into a communal house of amazing women who encouraged me to live the way I really wanted to. And during that time I met a woman named Jaye and we had a frenzied little romance that played out rather publicly within our wider group. Some readers who witnessed these events might recall them a little differently than what I have put down. Real life, as we know, is rather poorly organized, and so I freely admit to taking liberties with the time frame and to juicing up a few key events near the end. ![]()
A note about the illustrationsWhen I was little, everyone said I looked like Ariel, Disney's "Little Mermaid." They said that about my older sister Mona also, but she disliked the comparison while I adored it. I had lots of Ariel bling in my childhood and received many hand-made birthday cards in which Ariel cutouts were used to represent me. People sometimes dotted these with freckles because Ariel herself (suspiciously) had none. This comparison continued as I grew up, and sometime during that period there was an Ariel meme running rampant on the Internet. People would occasionally send me decidedly non-Disney images of my unfreckled doppleganger, some of them quite risque. When I posted the first entry to these stories, I included a few of these images -- and that sparked more contributions. This was mostly driven by three or four individuals with too much time on their hands and only moderate Photoshop skills (you know who you are). I have included most of these contributions, but censored those that I deemed too dirty -- because as you all know I am actually rather prim for a girl who likes to go naked. |
